Well, for those who care to read about the collection of my thoughts put into text, please enjoy!
I will start this off with one of the most dividing and polarizing words in the english language. Politics. Yes the dreaded P word. I will come out and establish my views now. I am very right conservatively and liberal on most economic policies. So…. Spoiler alert!
I am very strongly opposed to gay marriage. I find it wrong and, quite frankly, disgusting. But don’t get me wrong, it is the same as adultery, lust, murder, drugs, etc., in the fact that they are all sins. But before you go with the “You hate gays? You are a hate-mongering, ignorant bigot. All conservatives are the same!” Followed by lots of shouting in my direction. Well, the above statement is wrong. I do not “hate” gays or lesbians. I find their acts sinful and wrong. It’s like the old adage says: “Hate the sin, love the sinner.”
And does it not seem a little strange that I voice my beliefs and I get called a bigot for it? Is that not the “tolerance” that gets taught everywhere? If I say that I disagree with gay marriage, that should be the end of the convo. I have an opinion and it doesn’t agree with yours. Issue dropped.
